Filtering a list of EC2 instances by tag

  1. Click Instance to return to the EC2 Instance list.

  1. Click on the Filter Instances box and then Click the Owner tag from the list.

  1. Click on Owner: Yourname.

Tag

  1. The results contain resources that have been tagged with your specified filter.

Tag

  1. Once you’re done, select Clear filters to clear the filter.
  2. You can try steps 2 to 4 again with the Environment: Test Tag to find that the instance tagged with Environment: UAT is filtered out.
